Septic Inspections

I am licensed by the Missouri Department of Health and Human Services.  Licensing requires a two-day course on inspecting septic systems as well as a prerequsite course in basic system installation.  The DHSS requires me to employ inspection procedures developed by them.  The DHSS also requires me to utilize and complete their standard form.

Several misconceptions accompany the often times "touchy" septic inspections.  The DHSS requires septic systems to be installed in a certain manner in order to obtain an acceptable rating. The DHSS does not take into account the amout of acreage the system is installed on or the age of the system.  It is the policy of TWL to make sure all the parties involved understand their requirements as well as what they mean.  My ultimate goal is to effectively and accurately inform the buyers and owners during this process.
